It has taken four days of action to carve down the 587 player starting field down to just eight hopefuls and the one name drawing the attention of poker fans everywhere is current chip leader Daniel Negreanu.

Negreanu has been the chip leader since the middle of Day 2 and is now in a good position to take down an intangible EPT title, to go with his 4 WSOP bracelets and 2 WPT titles. A €700,000 ($972,677) winning would also put Daniel on live tournament earnings of $13,808,689 and propel him ahead of Phil Ivey on poker’s All Time Money List.

As Oct. 30’s action got underway at the €5,300 buy-in event, Negreanu was only slightly following the Greek pro and chip leader Konstantinos Nanos. By the end of the day, however, Negreanu was back out on top yet again and finished on 5.07 million chips with a second place Nanos trailing on 3.635 million.

Sunday poker event has never been this hot has popular players met again on felt to win their games and get the cash prizes offered by different events.

One of the notable winners of the day is Alex “Kadabra” Keating after dominating Sunday Brawl set by Full Tilt Poker and collecting more than $111,000. Sherkadil also won at another event. He competed in PokerStars Sunday Million and bagged the price greater than $215,000. And if Sherkadil won over Sunday Million, Doeks also had his share of PokerStars’ prizes after being the last person standing in Sunday Warm-Up. His overall earning is around $144,000.

Aside from these players, Blair Tidsmarsh, Kevin Eyester, Chris Hunichen, and Mickey Petersen are also among the players who did well on their own Sunday matches.

Because of all these players who are doing well on their game, you can say that finding the BLUFF Online Player of the Year can be a bit tougher this week.

Poker machines have been one of the club items people use in order to enjoy this favorite game of many individuals today. However, did you know that just like any inhabitants of the country, these machines also charged with their own taxes?

Opposition leaders that they would do go with the changed tax system on these machines. According to resources, Barry O’Farrell agreed with Clubs NSW to cut down the taxes on these machines. As agreed, they will remove up to $300 million taxes from these machines from around four years. The term however is these clubs should give more contribution to the community and other organizations. O’Farrell stated that it’s the best way for them to spread out the money earned by these clubs to other organizations. Basically, these groups have the ability to spend more than other government sectors to other causes because of how much they can earn from them.

Since World Series of Poker-Europe is one of the most awaited poker events, ESPN is now planning of a way on how they would stream the play online for the viewers. What they plan to do is to let viewers see delayed telecast of their games while the remaining players are still on their tables

ESPN stated that the stream is available for the three final tables and shown on ESPN’s official website on Wednesday while no-limit Texas Hold ‘em on Thursday. Even if this stream plan is considered by the management, senior director Doug White stated that they haven’t decided yet whether they would do the same stream procedure for November’s event.

If you are among these individuals who would like to watch this tournament, you just have to look online for the actual telecast to be updated with what’s happening on the tournament and just enjoy this enjoyable game.

All eyes are on Full Tilt Poker Phil Ivey this week. He rushed around the Rio, from the $10k Heads Up to the $2,500 Pot-Limit Hold’em/Omaha, to the $3k H.O.R.S.E. Ivey grabbed his second cash of the series in the $1,500 Stud-8 event. Later on the third day, he finished 12th in the Pot-Limit mixed while beginning the H.O.R.S.E. He made it through the final table of that event and then to heads up with Bill Chen.

Ivey was at a big chip short, but that’s not enough to stop the game’s greatest player. The audience felt odd, where most spectators were far more excited than the always impassive Ivey. While Ivey heads up for a bracelet and at the same time everyone knew they were watching history, a sight certain to be repeated many times in the future. Watching him making his way to his eighth bracelet, it was impossible not to feel that the legend of Ivey is just starting.

The Full Tilt Poker pro made it through the first day of the heads-up championship event, and survived all the way to the final day of the $2,500 PL Holdem/Omaha event, to set the rail-birding community on fire. For the meantime, two more players made their gold bracelets: Konstantin Puchov, who succeeded in the $1,500 HORSE event and Mike Ellis, who won event #30, the $1,500 NL Holdem event.

Mike Ellis had to best an initiating field of 2,400 players, but it was all worth it: alongside the bracelet, he picked up $581,851 as the winner’s share of the prize-pool. The final day of action was a pretty wearing one in the $1,500 NL Holdem event, 21 players bellied up to the tables at the start of the final stretch of action. Ellis battle on Christopher Gonzales heads-up and it took him almost 3 hours to dispose of his final foe. In the concluding hand of the poker tournament, Ellis made a nut flush on the turn to finally tip the balance his way for good.
