In today’s tough economy, I had found that while I searched for folding poker tables they turned out to be a not bad expenditure. I was thrilled to stumble on such an assortment of quality and style. The prices were pretty affordable and I did not have to search for an extensive amount of time. The best factor of all was purchasing them on the web, and then having it delivered directly to my front door. It certainly reduced the amount of the foot work. Now that my friends and family see that I own a bunch of them, I delivered them personally to their houses so we all take our turn hosting poker night.
Each of us chipped in and bought the fine professional quality poker chips and the real playing cards too. It tends to make one feel they’re getting a little experience of Vegas. We also worked on buying card shufflers and tournament timers too. There is a lot of fun things to purchase with folding poker tables such as the dealer buttons, poker signs for decorating, and poker card discard holders. The best thing I bought was the thousand poker chip carrier with trays. That keeps things nice and neat. The poker chip cases have space for the chips, cards, and dealer button which was nice for storage.
Sooner or later we are going to unearth the money to host a charity poker competition. We all have our preferred charities so choosing one won’t be an issue. I found that playing on a folding poker table made me a a good deal better player. I began paying closer attention and learning the art of the game. My abilities have greatly improved since the early days of learning to play poker with my father. Looking at my dad’s hardwood table scarred from throwing chips and shuffling the cards, to looking at a padded felt lined poker table with cup holders and padded arm rests, was an immense change for the better. My father would of certainly enjoyed instructing me to play poker on one of these tables.
I suppose the guys like the idea of poker, and the ladies like the idea of the nice felt lined tables. It wasn’t too tough to pick one since they are all so good looking. It does tend to draw more players into the game too. It all appears so realistic with the good clay chips and everything. The only downside we are having now is to try to stop playing and go home! Still I would highly recommend folding poker tables to anyone that enjoys playing poker sporadically or frequently. They fold up and a nice vinyl cover fits over the entire table for simple storage. Of course a few of us have designed a poker room in our houses so it is the center piece of the room. Purchasing a roulette wheel and a poker table top with the roulette arrangement and blackjack markings also added a nice touch.
Folding poker tables really were a great change from a standard folding table where someone constantly spilled their beer or flipped a chip or card off the table.
